Was lange währt, wird endlich gut, heißt es. Insgesamt viermal musste der Auftritt des neuen Projekts der Söhne Mannheims bereits verschoben werden. Doch nun ist es so weit. Mit Songs wie „Geh davon aus“ stürmte die Combo bereits die Charts und dient seit 25 Jahren als musikalisches Aushängeschild der Quadratestadt. Wenn sie über Gefühle, Courage und Moral singen, berührt das das Publikum. Nach einem zweijährigen Kreativ-Sabbatical legen die Söhne Mannheims erneut mit viel Elan los. Mit hochkarätig besetzter Band, bestehend aus dem Gitarristen Kosho, dem Schlagzeuger Ralf Gustke und dem Bassisten Edward Maclean sowie der bezaubernden Sängerin Phallée wird Sänger Michael Klimas im Capitol die Herzen erobern. Und da drei Vertreter des neueren deutschen Jazz mit von der Partie sind, wird es bei dem Projekt Söhne Mannheims Jazz Department definitiv schwungvoll und jazzig!
